Brevio Pet is a habit tracker with a pet, Check, who grows as you take care of yourself. This policy explains what stays on your iPhone, what leaves it, why, and how to remove it.

What stays on your iPhone

Your pet, habits and their history, paths, coins, items and room live in a database on your device. Reminders and messages from Check are scheduled on the device.

Backup

So you don’t lose Check when you change or reset your iPhone, Brevio Pet backs up your game — the pet’s name and progress, your habits (including their titles) and their history, paths, items and room — to Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). The backup is tied to an anonymous account the app creates for you; it contains no name or email.

If you choose “Sign in with Apple”, Firebase Authentication stores the identifier Apple provides and, if Apple shares one, an email address (often a private relay address). It is used only so you can restore your backup on another iPhone.

Backups are protected by security rules: only your account can read or write them.

Usage statistics

Brevio Pet uses Google Analytics for Firebase to learn how the app is used — for example, which onboarding screen people reach, that a habit was completed or that the shop was opened. It never receives your pet’s name or the titles of your habits. Brevio Pet does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across other apps or websites.

You can turn this off at any time: Account → Anonymous statistics.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and handled by Apple. Brevio Pet never sees your card or payment details; it only checks with Apple whether your subscription is active.

What Brevio Pet does not do

No ads and no advertising identifiers.
No selling or sharing of your data.
No reading of your habits by anyone at Brevio Pet.

Deleting your data

Account → Delete account and data deletes your backup, your account and everything stored on the iPhone. Deleting the app removes the local data; the backup stays until you delete the account or ask us to delete it.

Apple — payments and Sign in with Apple.

Children

Brevio Pet is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
